SIS Global Seating's retractable, compact and flexible seating Venu range available with either hard-wearing and durable PU seat and backrest pads or as a fully upholstered chair
Produced from an engineered metal replacement composite, ‘Dura Z’, it offers a number of innovative features including a compact design and adaptive clamping for curved beams. This dynamic seating range offers a contemporary aesthetic together with high-speed installation.
Available from 1-10 seat placement beams and can be fixed to retractable units and fixed floors of all substrates.
Aluminium beam mounted, fold-away seating system for retractable units.
The seat place is available in various module widths and has unrestricted seat spacing capacities.
The product is available with either individual, shared or without arms. Armrests are available in Dura-Z composite, capped with integral skin polyurethane or can be upholstered.
Unique beam mounting technology allows for an easy fit to straight/continuous curve or faceted beams.
Seat & Back available in cold-cure polyurethane foam upholstery or Z-form integral skin polyurethane. Z-form benefits include high durability, easy-clean & contemporary aesthetic. Seats conform to the current fire resistant requirements.
Engineered seat pivot, provides the highest quality, silent, seat tipping movement.
Extremely fast installation & full serviceability
Sprung seat & folding arm resulting in a product envelope of 800mm x 150mm, allowing the product to be used in the tightest of situations.

Smooth, uninterrupted surfaces produce a flowing aesthetic whilst minimising dust traps and reducing cleaning time.
All SIS retractable units comply with BS EN 1090-1:2009 +A1:2011 & BS EN 1090-2:2018 – Execution of Steel Structures and Aluminium Structures.

Framework

Steel cast stanchion and aluminium high pressure die clamp.
Steel fabricated fold down mechanism. Available either with or without counter weight springs. Standard colour RAL 7021 Grey.
Horizontal beam produced from tempered aluminium extrusion.
Internal welded steel assembly.
For strength and durability the seating unit complies to BS EN 12727 :2006, Test level 4 and BS EN 1728 :2012.
Frame powder coated to BS or RAL colours.
All fixings are fully hidden from sight.

Upholstery and PU Pads

PU seat and back produced from highly durable Z-form integral skin polyurethane.
Core seating structure comprises of metal replacement Dura-Z composite.
Seat and back foam hardness: 390 - 450N.
Seat core structure: 3d formed 14mm Birch ply.
Back core structure: 3d formed 12mm Birch ply.
Complies with fire retardancy regulation BS EN 5852 Source Ignition 0,1 & 5 (Crib 5)
